It is said that life begins at the age of forty and perhaps that is why I, shortly before turning forty, chose to change mine.
A great passion for handbags and a certain level of tenacity meant that I put a lot of energy into building my business.
I will be honest, mine is a formidable team effort: my husband helped me by advising and supporting me, the months of pregnancy before the birth of Leo allowed me to focus on the world of handbags, the birth of Livia inspired me to build and organise my business. And with the latest arrival, Viola, the boutique on Via Vittoria has also arrived.
Mine is a story of passion for traditional craftsmanship. An adventure that begins with the search for high quality leathers and first class production techniques, to create colourful, different, artfully made accessories that combine creativity with expert craftsmanship in unmistakable Italian style.
Did you know that each bag is named after a special place in Rome? I wanted to create a map of the heart and populate it with memories, anecdotes, stories. My first home, the bohemian neighbourhood of the days at university, the piazzas of evenings with friends.I take you into my world, will you come with me?
